Overview:
Kwajalein Island contained the most Japanese forces, but was not the most built up in terms of defenses. The defenses were built to eliminate an attacker on the beach, and priority was given to the ocean side over the lagoon side. The Japanese did not know “alligator” tanks would allow the Americans to launch a mass amphibious operation on the lagoon side. The 184th Regimental Combat Team landed at 0930 and received relatively light fire. The 3rd Platoon, C Company, 13th Engineer Battalion was attached to the 3rd Battalion and advanced with the infantry. Several hundred meters inland they ran into bunkered strongpoints, where the Japanese put up a stiff resistance.Attacker: American (Elements of 3rd Battalion, 184th Regimental Combat Team, 7th Infantry Division)
Defender: Japanese (Elements of 6th Naval Base Defense Force)

2024-01-14 | (D) walter mcwilliams | vs | Tom Kearney | Japanese win | The latest volume in our BFP play through. My japanesee managed to funnel the US into the killzone and the AA gun went on a ROF IFE tear and crushed them. The 20L AT gun accounted for one burning and one immobliled gator and a THH immobilized another. The US was near the VC cap but made one last push but was again stopped. With one turn left, Tom through in the towel.
2020-10-09 | (D) David Garvin | vs | Bob Kedge Johnson | Japanese win | My sniper was key. It eliminated his on successive hot rolls. Then my HMGs were able to knock out his LVTs for the VP win.
2020-07-25 | (A) Rob MacGinley | vs | Ian Willey | Japanese win | Yanks have lots and lots of toys I fell into every trap of the IJA and suffered terrible losses watch this one if you don't like bug hunts - hunting out bunkers can be a pain in a narrow attack lane

2020-02-20 | (A) Andy Beaton | vs | Bruce Stevenson | Japanese win | Didn't take enough risks with my armour - lost and came nowhere near my CVP cap |
