Overview:
By the 28th of May, Colonel Yamasaki was running out of options, supplies, and manpower. Col. Yamasaki planned a final all-out attack against the American forces on Attu using the remaining 800 of so of his men that could still walk, crawl or otherwise even carry a stick. His men were now starving, running out of ammunition.
