2024-10-06(A) Indy Lagu vs Jody Sallans German winOur long awaited rematch!

At the end of turn 2, things were looking bad for the Germans.
No smoke yet, and we had a lot of open ground to cross.
Two squads coming on the south edge were both broken
in precarious positions.

Everything changed on turn 3. The smoke came down exactly
where I wanted it and I was able to rush ahead. Still the game
hung in the balance. I got luck and got another smoke FFE, and
the sheer weight of numbers of the Germans was enough to
carry the day.

Jody curiously gave his MTR to full squads, and the 9-2 was with
an LMG, not the HMG.

I would certainly play this again.

2024-02-06(A) John Garlic vs Martin Marquis French win
2023-11-08(D) nathan wegener vs Wes Vaughn German winOpponent used OBA and laid a nice smoke ring on the SW corner of the village and pretty much entered unscathed other than his 9-2 which took a 25mm AP round at close range and hobbled around for most of the game. The French machine guns showed that they were the product of the lowest contractor bid and did nothing the entire game several breaking and the rest of the time being ineffective. Looked like the Germans were going to win big but a HS snuck into CC to rescue the French 9-2 who was encircled upstairs. That CC victory and another one in the same turn took out 3 German squads. Last half turn the German was able to place 2 DC on my last hex and wipe out the defender to advance in for the win.
2023-07-03(A) Eric Partizan Eric vs German win
2022-11-13(D) Indy Lagu vs Jody Sallans French winThis was a bit easy for the French, partly due to inexperience on my
opponent when it came to attacking. Jody forgot to use his OBA for
smoke and was a bit unlucky running through my fire lanes.

I would certainly play this again, as either side. The SSR allowing both
players to place some shell holes and rubble counters aids replay value.
