Overview:

Having lost the important crossroads at Marjamäki, the Finns committed more and more units in a desperate attempt to blunt the Soviet juggernaut. One of the final attacks was towards Tali and, despite reports of company-sized Soviet units in the area of the local Youth House, only light resistance was expected. Feeling the urgency of the situation, Colonel Forsberg ordered the attack by III/JR13 and II/JR48, supported by assault guns.
