Having secured Oslo, the Germans launched their advance towards Trondheim and Abdalsnes. Fearing a British landing, Hitler personally ordered elements of Fallschirmjäger Regiment 1 (FJR1) to drop near Dombas and cut both the railway and Riksvei 50 between Trondheim and Oslo. This move would effectively cut Norway in half and block any British reinforcements moving towards southern Norway. FJR1 became scattered, captured or killed within the first twenty-four hours of landing. Still sixty fallschirmjägers managed to come together and carry out the assignment. But soon elements of a Norwegian battalion assigned to defend the area began an assault to dislodge the fallschirmjägers from their positions astride the railway and road.
And absolute stinker of a scenario where the Norwegians have too few troops for the type of mission they need to achieve, especially when they don't have an advantage in support weapons. This scenario needs something like Smoke-only OBA, or one fewer German squads, or another modification (on top of the first two) in order to truly balance it.

Norwegians came thought the woods and were shot to pieces. Sniper got their 9-2 their 8-1 went berserk and the 7-0 ELR reduced. Germans moved out to mop up the broken units. Norwegians must use a different approach.
