For almost three months the German 1st Mountain and the Russian 318th Mountain Rifle divisions were locked together in combat on the slopes of Mount Elbrus. By the end of Turn 1, it was over and the Russians conceded. Losses and MALF'd guns were so much that the Russians were doomed. Hard to concede so early, but the scenario does seem to make that a potential risk if both players set up in each other's grills as we did. Not a scenario I play again and hard to recommend as well. | ||
