Overview:

On 13 July 1941, in Italian-occupied Montenegro, Montenegrin separatist Sekula Drljević proclaimed an Independent State of Montenegro under Italian protectorate, upon which a nationwide rebellion escalated raised by Partisans, Yugoslav Royal officers and various other armed personnel. It was the first organized armed uprising in then occupied Europe, and involved 32,000 people. Most of Montenegro was quickly liberated, except major cities where Italian forces were well fortified.

2020-11-23(A) Shane Pask vs Partisan (Montenegrin) winIt is the little things that count. Main partisan attack was proceeding badly but the reinforcements crept up the hill, avoided fire and one squad broke the defenders and captured the gun. Support weapons were failing everywhere (the brexia disabled, 2 partisan LMG disabled, Italian LMG disabled, DC lost by KIA) but the MMG was firing well from the steeple - until the partisans reached the gun. Boxcars! No other Italian in prep fire range. Spike gun for the win.
2020-08-20(D) David Garvin vs Bud Nicola Italian winWhat a match. We traded deadly shots, but in the end, my 75mm gun was the GOAT. It recorded a number of critical hits and went on a rate tear or two to devastate Bud's attacking forces.

In the end, it came to the final turn.

Of note, that wee tankette of mine malf'd its gun on its first shot. It was not a factor in this game at all.
2020-04-20(A) Andrea Noia vs Andrea Manzoli Italian winPartizans lost a leader on the east edge, and from there that side was crippled for the entire game. Lost also the other leader due to a very good shot (and random selection). Very difficult for partisans to overcame 2 leader loss, due to Break morale of 5... Last desperate assault on the mountain, no success but a lot of glory :)

2020-04-16(A) Jeff B vs Magnus Rimvall Partisan (Montenegrin) winThings started out perfectly when I attacked hard west, breaking my one unit of strong opposition in PFPh, and overwhelming the remaining HS. But I started to think I took the wrong path when I slogged down in the R-T rows due to his very well-positioned gun, mortar, and MMG. Thankfully I had taken prisoners on Turn 1 and was able to amass an army of HS. If it wasn't for this I don't think I could've won. Magnus wisely kept concealment as much as possible due to his 6 ML. My northern reinforcements had some good luck during their approach on the other side of Hill 534, while my main force made inroads into the village. Everything came together on Turn 5 when I was able to run some units past his tank and charge his gun crew, survive point blank FFMO shooting, and dispatch them in CC. From there it was simply a matter of spiking the gun after surviving his PFPh.
