Overview:

Having suffered severely from a German counterattack on 11 July, 1st Battalion, 115th Infantry Reg­iment, 29th Infantry Division had been unable to participate effectively in the Di­vision's attack towards St. Lô that day. Four days later, the Regiment's other two Battalions were exhausted from their attacks, and now it was the turn of the Battal­ion commanded by Major Glover S. Johns, Jr. While Company C engaged on the right flank, Lieutenant Peter Kordiyak's Company B, attacking on the left flank, faced a ravine to cross on the other side of which the Germans defended from dug-­in positions in a large, wooded area. With Division commander General Charles Gerhardt demanding immediate results from the 115th commander, Colonel Godwin Ordway, Jr., Johns was ordered to attack over open ground.

The first shoot by the Americans broke the German squad and leader in the bunker with the HMG (it only ended up with 1 shot the whole game. With this success the American walked in to OG in front of a Hidden Squad and LMG . 1 leader , 2 squads and 1 half squad broke. The americans attack on the right side was going well. Then the American sniper came out to play. killing 1 leader and the equivalent of 1 squad. Once the Americans made it through the Valley there was no stopping them The game ended in the Turn 6 American turn when a German half squad FPF and broken
