Overview:

The massive Japanese banzai charge led by Lt. Endo had reached its climax just after sunrise. By then the Japanese had entered the west end of the Topside Barracks where Colonel Jones had his command center and the Regimental Aid Station. The clerks, cooks, messengers, medics, orderlies and staff members armed themselves and took up positions in doorways, windows and stairwells. Even the lightly wounded were pulled from their beds and given carbines and pistols to defend themselves, as no quarter could be expected should the Japanese break through.

2025-03-16(A) John Garlic vs Jeremy Busby Japanese winA very tough Scenario for the Japanese. I was able to slip around to the west end of factory under cover of LV and a little smoke. Once in the factory, was able to slowly slog forward. My Japanese were helped by some opportune ineffective fire led by 10-2. It still came down to final turn. Nail-biter!
2023-06-10(A) Douglas Leslie vs Marc Hanna American winDays after finishing this game, I still wake up in a cold sweat as I remember the sight of the IJA being reduced to a bloody pulp by a .50 cal directed by a 10-2 leader with seemingly endless ROF. Not my finest hour due to my boneheaded decision to attack the Americans where they were strongest.
