Overview:
With the capture of the Le Petite Ferme, Kampfgruppe Kentner fell back to its next line of defense, astride the east-west lane from la Mare to Le Carillon. After clearing out the farmhouse and the surrounding buildings, Company E, reinforced by Company G, continued its advance. The Americans using the tactic of putting down heavy concentrating of fire on suspected German positions and then clearing them with small groups of men, proved time-consuming.Attacker: American (Company E, 1st Battalion, 137th Infantry Regiment)
Defender: German (Kampfgruppe Kentner, 352.Infanterie-Division)

2024-01-10 | (A) Jack Wilson | vs | Bob T. | German win | Surprised to see only a few reported playings. If you like Bocage set in an historically accurate map, this pack is highly recommended. The DSL 2 Scenario features a small section of the main Drive on St. Lo map. Like all the DSL scenarios, the Americans have to deal with pillboxes, entrenchments, bocage, and minefields. In my case, I was able to mitigate the first three, but could find no way to cross the deadly minefields. My squads' 6 ML simply could not withstand the multiple 8 flat attacks. That, coupled with a bungling attack plan, resulted in an early surrender.
2020-08-04 | (A) Rob MacGinley | vs | Ian Willey | German win | Like the historical disaster that the Yanks felt in the Hedgerows at the time - I suffered the same fate to well placed traps from the Germans none of my attacks led to more than casualties
(D) Jim Thompson | vs | Vince Lewonski | American win | [Imported from ROAR] |
