Overview:
The main German advance of the 4th Light Division turned northward towards Lwow. The 10th Polish Mechanized Brigade, nicknamed the Black Brigade, faced continuous combat against this German mountain division. It was more and more difficult for the Black Brigade to mount effective counter-attacks. With its remaining assets, the brigade was able to mount spoiling attacks against the flank of the 4th Light Division, threatening its supply lines.Attacker: German (Supply elements, 4th Light Division)
Defender: Polish (101st Scout Coy & 24th Lancers Rgt, 10th Mechanized “Black Brigade”)

2024-11-18 | (A) Jobbo Fett | vs | JobboFett | German win | The restricted Polish setup really emphasizes a turn 2 ambush, and being on a hope and a prayer that you can nail to TH and TK rolls. The Ammo Truck is neat, but feels like a waste of an SSR when the Germans can simply pick the rear-most truck and not really have to worry about its loss/effect. Give the Poles the balance, it feels like they need it. With the balance, I'd be willing to replay it - it might drastically improve the rating.
2024-05-02 | (A) Ben B | vs | Jim | German win | Germans won this on Turn 3. I suspect the Poles will need to keep the Germans restricted to convoy movement beyond Turn 1 to have any hopes of holding them off. Attack too early and the Germans are free to break off and take an alternate (less defended) route towards the northern exit.
2022-12-11 | (A) S. Slunt | vs | Jody Sallans | German win | A mistake let the Germans break convoy on turn one, and they were able to skirt the east edge to get off in German turn 3
