Overview:

The 11th Armoured Division was bypassing south of Udem when it ran into elements of the 116th Panzer Division (Windhund). Challenger and Cromwell tanks of C Squadron, 15.19th Hussars and the 3rd Battalion Monmouthshire Regiment struggled through soft ground to engage the Greyhound Division in deadly combat which lasted for two days.

I couldn't keep my leaders in the game and although I had a grip on 2 buildings, I couldn't make a dent in the third when I found a fortification in it in turn 4. A lot of fun, though, and some better dice might have given it to me.
2012-04-06(A) Edward Fritz vs Dave Bresson British winBritish depleted their smoke without getting any on the board. Used WP to neutralize the HMG. British had to come on hard and fast before the WP wore off. The first turn saw the British and German trading tank for tank-destroyer. British cracked the fortified building location by driving a tank into the building to create a breach. Lots of desperation moves by the British, which worked because the dice were kind. Still a fast and fun scenario.
