Overview:
The fighting raged around Iasi in northern Romania. The town was key to the defense of the whole country. To relieve some pressure, the German command ordered a series of spoiling attacks east of Iasi. The resulting chaos would leave the Russians with no other option but to re-prioritize their resources, and restore order in the east. In the early morning hours of 25 April, Târgu Frumos was the focal point of the German effort. The elite German Grossdeutschland division hit the Russian lines north-east of the small town, and the Romanian Rapid Armor Detachment hit those to the west. The Romanians attacked at the boundary of two Russian divisions, both of which were in the process of being replaced. It was not until the Romanians had pierced the Russian lines and penetrated a couple of kilometers into the rear that the Russians realized the seriousness of the situation, and decided to commit their operational reserves.Attacker: Romanian (Rapid Armor Detachment)

Lots of AFV's in this one. I love the SP OT guns...all have AAMG... Russians Get some REALLY big guns at turn 4 of 7. Just really strong. I think the Rumanians IF they reach the town, MIGHT have the edge since they have PF to Blast the elite Russians from the buildings. Mobility and speed is the key. Don't Stop.... Not TRULY a big fan of this type as if you get a couple of bad DFF attacks..you will be in trouble later. | ||
