Overview:
During the battles of the "Uman Poacket", the LSSAH Division bore the brunt of the heavy fighting against the Russians. Pushing forwards to close the gap in the pocket, the German assault quickly bogged down in front of a strong Russian defensive position. Dug in along a railroad embankment, the Russians threw back four successive attacks by the SS. Help arrived in the form of one battery of Hungarian artillery, a unit of Hungarian cavalry and a squadron of armored cars. The squadrons of horse soldiers calmly moved up to the lone with sabers drawn, the Hussars then began their trot forwards. With a sharp cry of "Hajra!", they broke into a full gallop and charged the Russian lines.Attacker: German (SS) / Hungarian (Leibstandart SS "Adolf Hitler" Division with 4th Hussar Regiment "Count Hadik Andras) and Armored Car Squadron)
Defender: Russian (11th Tank Division and Armored Car Detachment)

2020-12-12 | (A) Stephen Stewart | vs | Steve Slunt | German (SS) / Hungarian win | Setup SS in a spread formation as close to Russian as possible. Most of the Cavalry gallops to the middle of board 4 (middle and the top of board 4) Radio gets sent bot to be far from fight. Enemy mortar goes wild on bottom units (Radio)...like 10 shots in 2 fire phases. SS push hard mid and Berserk unit charges broken SS units and continues to pursue. All enemy leaders are out of the game by Turn 4. Opponent concedes one turn after his AC platoon comes on board. All enemy MG's out of commission. SSR placement of the RR was clarified to be EMRR instead of the EL RR as the overlays represent. SSR2 Re: Multi national FG are not allowed. I think this is crystal clear. NO FG allowed among the Hungarians and SS..NONE....So, that would eliminate the Mandatory FG direction. You can't combine into ONE FG, but doesn't remove independent FG. https://youtu.be/wE1Oku4vNxw ON Vasling with Stew.... | ||
