Overview:
The 4th Ukrainian Front was trying to destroy the German 17th Army in the Crimea. The Russians used the 51st Army and the 19th Tank Corps to initiate the attack against the German and Romanian forces just north of the Sivash Sea. The German 336th Infantry and the Romanian 10th Infantry Division defended this area. This was a desperate defense by units that should have started their retreat at an earlier date. The initial fighting took place the evening of April 7th when Russian troops attacked and were counterattacked. These attacks were minor and the main Russian attack took place early on April 8th.Attacker: Russian (19th Tank Corps, 51st Army & local partisans)
Defender: German/Romanian ((German) 111th & 336th Infantry Divisions and (Romanian) 10th Infantry Division)

2024-12-30 | (A) Kermit Mullins | vs | Dan Best | Russian win | 2 hrs | Turns 1 and 2 were good for the Germans/Romanians with a KIA'd 4-4-7 and a destroyed SU-122. But after that the luck switched over to the All Russian All the Time station. Russians exited the required EVP on Turn 7 for the win.

2013-04-26 | (A) X von Marwitz | vs | Juergen Juergensen | Russian win | It is a challenge for the Russian to cover quite a lot of OG. The Axis should do well to place some delaying units in obvious approach routes. It is not easy for the Russians to close in with the enemy.
