2024-07-05 | (A) Kermit Mullins | vs | Dan Best | Spanish Nationalists win | Tough game with low factor squads trying to pry better squads out of Stone Buildings. Not one of my favorite kind of games. My Republicans couldn't get the rolls to do anything and were cut down by the two guns and the HMG. Not a fan. | ||

2022-07-20 | (A) Jobbo Fett | vs | Hypnobeard | Draw | Some very early losses and breaks thanks to dice that would happily dance around my SAN number (4) with numerous 3s and 5s to plaster my boys. Of the two times my sniper WAS teased out of their slumber, no activations were achieved. Movement was slow, which the attacker can afford with how small the play area is, and the cavalry on turn 3 got easy access into the back of the building by galloping, jumping the wall, and dismounting adjacent to a 75mm gun that had turned around but missed their shot. We called it a draw, if only because the game could've swung either way and it was getting late. Nationalist side set up as close to the enemy as possible, with both Guns and 10FP+8-1 leader in the objective building, along with only 1 real squad. The SSR doesn't state that the Dynamite Heroes creation is automatic, so we didn't roll for it. One was KIA'ed, but the other at least was able to break a pair of squads in a stone building. |
