Overview:
A patrol of Jaeger Division 100 managed to reach the west bank of the Volga following a saturation bombardment of Russian positions. The Germans soon found themselves cut off as Red Army soldiers re-emerged from their rubble hideouts after allowing the German detachment to pass. Back in the factory complex, Lt. Wilhelm Kreiser received orders to break through to his stranded companions before their rescue became impossible. . .
Attacker: German (Stranded elements of Jaeger Division 100)
Defender: Russian (Elements of 138th Rifle Division)
Very original scenario with quite little freedom left for the Russian to setup (but yet fun). Some stranded German units need to be rescued near the Volga with evening LV. The German attacked strongly in te center and quickly forced back the Russian with poor and inefficient fire power. The Russian MMG was left at the second level of a Southern building with quite no effect. With little freedom of movement, the Russian had difficulties to reinforce the center. The German secured the center and opened a corridor for the stranded unit to exit. The Russian eliminated several stranded units but not enough. The German won on turn 5 with the Russian reinforcements yet to enter.

The Germans hit the middle hard and managed to create a wedge in the Russian line and snuck through 3 squads for the win.

Very bad luck of Toze, reinforcements never appear and he never could move more than two squads.

Having seen the Russian setup, the 'Stranded' units tried to go north to exit. Lost 4VP on a 2KIA from MG nest overlooking the cliffs, but narrowly evading the reinforcements, the rest of the them made good their escape.

The trapped Germans couldn't hold out - early Russian reinforcements and deadly incoming fire reduced them down to 4CVP by turn 3
